Q. Who is T-RAM?
A. T-RAM is a fab-less Semiconductor Company that is
developing products based on its proprietary TCCT (Thin-Capacitively-Coupled-Thyristor)
technology.
Q. What does the “T”
in T-RAM stand for?
A. The “T” in T-RAM stands for “Thyristor”
which is the foundation of T-RAM’s technology.
Q. Who owns T-RAM’s
technology?
A. We have an exclusive license to use the technology
from Stanford University and have over 100 patents at
various stages, of which over 30 have already been granted.
Q. What products does
T-RAM offer today?
A. T-RAM will be offering High-Performance, High-Density,
discrete Synchronous SRAM’s (SSRAM’s) that
are fit, form, and function compatible with existing
standard SRAM’s in the industry.
Q. What are T-RAM’s
future product offerings?
A. We intend to develop products that will have large
portions of the silicon consumed with T-RAM TCCT technology
as well as license the technology for specific applications.
Q. How do your products
differ from other suppliers?
A. Our products are fit, form, and function compatible
with existing standard SRAM’s in the industry,
but due to our proprietary TCCT technology, are higher
in density, smaller in die size and lower in manufacturing
cost than competing technologies.
Q. What is the value-proposition
of T-RAM’s solutions?
A. T-RAM technology solves the performance/density tradeoffs
in current memory solutions. We can offer higher density
memory devices at today’s process technology.
Q. Who would benefit from
using your products?
A. System architects and designers who are facing memory
bottlenecks in their design based on existing solutions.
T-RAM synchronous SRAM’s will leverage its technology
to offer SRAM random address rate while approaching
DRAM in density.
Q. Will you license your
technology to other companies?
A. T-RAM currently offers discrete memory solutions.
We plan to offer T-RAM's unique IP solutions in the
future to major IDM and foundries for embedded applications.
Q. Will you support other
process technologies in the future?
A. T-RAM's technology is scalable. We will support the
most current technology that major foundries have to
offer.
Q. Is T-RAM a public
company?
A. T-RAM is currently a privately held company.
